More fun with the American Sentence

You're thinking, "Hey, a sentence is all I get? A 17-syllable one at that?"
It's not as easy as it looks.
It is the American Sentence.

“Buried in warm sheets, he stares at ceiling swirls hoping for clarity.”

At one time I wrote a series of American Sentences.

Please do post it at the Poetry Train being run each Monday!

Thanks!

What a cool idea! I'll have to explore this. I like your sentence... it really is poetry.

A paragraph in 17 syllables! I like how the word "buried" can have more than one meaning!

Thanks for posting in Poetry train. However, you were supposed to leave the post URL. Not the blog one!

For now thats ok, too. I think!

As you must know, prose too is very welcome.
