Wednesday's Three word Wednesday

The words over at Three Word Wednesday at fallow, limit and vocal. Poetry is not my strong suit, but it’s what came out.

Vocal at another sunset,
a grumbling scream,
anger knows no limit,
sobs catch, heave the chest.

The heart a fallow field,
wind-swept and chilly,
seeds of hope struggle,
in a pained, infertile soul.

Another night alone,
the silence cackles electric,
drowning out simple prayers,
asking to ease the grief.

Poetry is not my favorite either, but you did good. :)
These feelings are hard to write and sometime it is best to express them with few words.

A real sense of loneliness here. Nicely done.

I am deeply moved by this (almost) stream of consciousness. Thank you for such vivid verse... The emotion practically leaps off the page - so tender and so human.

Lovely poetry ...and poet.

You wrote this so well.

Exquisite. Real. Evocative. Heart wrenching.

I'm not much of a poet either, but sometimes it's called for. Some feelings can only be best described in verse.

This was heart wrenching, yet beautiful...I could feel the grief in my own heart.

What are you talking about? This is awesome!

(Though, for some reason now I want to write a poem based around the idea of hopeless seeds.)

When words touch the soul, it is good poetry. And this one does that..
